About Me

I was born in a very remote village of Howrah district in the year of 1966 at Dhanyaghori, P.0-Bakshi, P.S-Joypur, Dist-Howrah on the day of 02/02/1966.My father is a primary school teacher, Mr Debendra Nath Bhaumik, and my mother is a house wife, Mrs Ashima Bhaumik. I belong to lower middle class family. I have 4 sisters and I myself, I was elder one. I have passed school final on the year of 1981 and H.S on the year of 1983,on that year I have got chance to MBBS to R .G. KAR . MEDICAL COLLEGE, (1983—1988) and done my P.G from I.C.H (KOLKATA)1990-93.

From my birth to my whole academic carrier I have to face lot of struggles for my survival to full fill my dreams. I was a case of obstructed labour; father has given consent to kill me, but some old doctor tried his best and delivered by forceps to this beautiful world. During labour pain my mother cried lots and eagerly pray to God, if somebody allows to come to world at all, the baby would be doctor and served the Mankind from this lots of pain off different diseases. My grandfather (maternal) was ruined Jaminder,at his fag end of his life my mother ,youngest of her family got married with my father, as he cannot give nothing to my mother during her marriage. He was such a visionary and has great wisdom, at my birth he told my mother I will be a great doctor in future to serve mankind and relieve my parent sorrows, demands and the pain off poor peoples in many ways. Many many thanks and heart felt gratitude to my dearest DADU.

In my college life I have no money to buy to new books, read old books from my seniors and library, my parents barrow lots of money for my study after maintaining whole family, as he was all ready retired before completing my carrier, as I have no money I cannot full fill my dreams to do further study (UK/USA). Though I was one of the best student in my throughout carrier. Always I am a big dreamer, sets new goal after achieving one. Throughout my academic carrier I was always in top three. I have written many topics on child care in different magazine, state and national news papers many times, I have done many live interviews in different TV channels to aware the child care management in basic levels. I have given lectures in many state and national level conferences on paediatric cares.

I am State Executive Member of I.A.P for last five years, and life member of I.M.A and N.N.F also. I have organised as an organising secretary many State and Zonal, National conferences on paediatric care in different part of West Bengal.

I have left the government services after two years, to serve my local poor village children (as the hospital was no indoor beds, cannot utilised my medical skills for my rural children) that was Jamtola Rural Hospital,Kultali(93-95). , that was also call from my parents to serve my birth places and local people. I started emergency paediatric practices in a limited resources to decentralised the health care system 18 years ago, what is now our beloved Chief Minister Mam thinking also by making SNCU/NICU at peripheral levels. My motto in my life is reaching towards unreached. Every child has birth right to get best modern medical caress at affordable and reachable ways.

Beside my dedicated life for those poor children’s I am involved many social works for the society. No government and any private corporate sector planned a paediatric unit in rural Bengal. I am the first person to start paediatric unit with 6 beds and now it is a multispecialty unit in bigger way with limited resources. What I am today that is due to blessing of my parents, love of my family and those beautiful children, to whom I have given new lives by my dedicated efforts during their critical Illness. Many thousands critical children got their new lives and I have returned back smile to their parents of surrounding four districts (Two Medinipur, Howrah, part of Hooghly ).
